Boogie Wipes Review and Giveaway!

I contacted Boogie Wipes to see if they were down for a review and they got back to me and said YES and how about a giveaway as well!!?? I accepted!

So here's what’s up at Boogie Wipes:

They have narrowed down all the entries for their 'Snot Your Average Kid Search and 3 Grand Prize Winners will be selected on (or about) January 9th! -That's tomorrow!!

Boogie Wipes also has an ongoing promotion called "Save the Sleeve": It’s a fun, interactive way for kids to learn to put their boogies in a Boogie Wipe and not on their sleeves!  You can learn more at SaveTheSleeve.com

They have also launched a new 'type' of Boogie Wipes for adults! Now I have to admit, I am guilty of using J's wipes for my nose. I was glad to hear that they came out with something for us!

SALINE SOOTHERS – our new saline nose wipes for more mature noses, are available NOW in retailers.  If you are interested in doing a separate review of Saline Soothers, please let me know, and I can include a sample for review.  For a list of retailers and a peek at our fun video, please visit www.salinesoothers.com

The Review:

Before actually trying Boogie Wipes, I thought that they were kind of silly. "Why do I need a wet nap (in my eyes I was looking at them as something I would use when eating ribs or something) to wipe my nose or J's nose when I can use tissue?? Well, there's a reason for them!! Boogie Wipes are soft, moist tissues for little ones nose! They are infused with saline for a comfortable way to wipe your nose.

I should mention that J never lets me get close to him with a regular tissue. He throws a fit and cries. So when he came down with a small bout of runny nose syndrome, I instantly put Boogie Wipes to the test.

When we first opened up our pack of Boogie Wipes I was surprised to see how *large the wipes were. I guess, it's about a standard size tissue, but I find them on the large side. If J only needed a little wipe down then I felt like I was wasting a wipe. What am I supposed to do with a partially used wet tissue?? I was glad to see that they were not drenched in liquid. They have just enough moisture to make it pleasurable to wipe J's or my nose.

.:Update:. - I was told that their 90 count canisters have a smaller sized wipe! The customers let Boogie Wipes know and they listened!! The texture of them - SOFT! Very soft and gentle on the nose. J never put up a fight. He allowed me to get his nose clean and even smiled afterwards - no tears.

Scent - I'm not a big scent person when it comes to the Boogie Wipes or any other facial product -The Grape smells like cough syrup in my opinion but they seem to be J's favourite! I like the fresh scent, not too overpowering but the unscented are my favourite. We haven't used the Minty Menthol yet, but we will!

I received a 30 count pack of Unscented Boogie Wipes along with 6 samples of their other scents. Grape, Fresh scent and Minty Menthol. Also I received some .50 off coupons.

The packaging is handy. Similar to your diaper wipes just in a smaller 30 count pack. They are easy to get out and stay moist when the lid is shut. They are compact enough that they don't take up a lot of space in the diaper bag.

In Canada, the only place I've been able to find Boogie Wipes is at our Toys 'r' us store, which isn't too far but I think I would keep these on hand more if I could find them in my grocery store. But they are worth the trip.

Overall - I keep these in our diaper bag and some of the samples in my purse for when needed. I feel that a smaller tissue would be more effective than a large one. Again, I feel like I am wasting if it I don't use it for a big job. They cost about the same as a pack of wipes here in Canada - around $4.00 for a pack of 30.

Boogie Wipes are a good product to have in the diaper bag and or in your purse. They have made life slightly easier with J when he had a runny nose or just is in a picking mood. I would recommend these to my friends and family.

  3. I would choose menthol for myself and grape for the kiddos.

  4. Probably unscented cause grape sounds gross and menthol kids probably don't like much. Maybe fresh depending on how scenty it is!
